Sittings
Peter can work from life, or photographs (mandatory for children
& animals), or a mixture of the two.
From life:
The number of 2/3 hour sittings that are required for:
- a "head and shoulders" portrait: 4/6
- a half/three quarter length portrait: 12/14
- a full-length portrait: 16/18
Sittings, ideally, should be as close together as possible, for maximum cohesion
and spontaneity. This also should mean fewer sittings are necessary.
